Soft serve is sooooo good ohmagawd.. and service is next level, guy name Min is really unbelievably kind. Superb!!!

The ice cream is delicious!!!, I had the coconut and the cookie dough. The staff was very helpful, too. I'm definitely coming back!

They told me this was the best ice cream in Old Town and I agree! The chocolate was just wonderful! My girl friend also really enjoyed the butter pecan.

Just really needed some ice cream one afternoon at the office. So me and some co-workers popped in. It was dead on a mid week afternoon in the winter. But they guy working there was cool and the prices were reasonable for moderately good ice cream. They have a lot of flavors and it is worth stopping in on a cold or hot day.

Delicious home-made ice cream and soft-serve custard. The lines can be long up in the evenings and on weekends.

Stopped here for an after-dinner treat. The selection of flavored ice creams looked great and difficult to choose. I elected to go with a simple selection and ordered a vanilla frozen custard. It was very rich and creamy. Happy I stopped in.

This place is great. I got Peanut Butter Fudge and Banana Pudding flavors in a waffle cone. Absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Solid ice cream spot, good selection of flavors, friendly service, quick turnaround. Kinda pricey but is expected given the area. Banana pudding flavor is A1 as is the Oreo. Recommended.

This place should have 5 stars for the service alone. Phenomenally kind, fast service no matter the demanding circumstances. A huge shout out to whoever was serving on Presidents Day 2020. (Of course, amazing dessert too. Highly recommend.)

A little pricey, but good ice cream.

The people here are amazing and it’s such a great place to take my kids. I love a good old fashioned ice cream shop and love to shop local. Anytime we have guests come to visit us in ALX we always take them here. The ice cream is so fresh and it’s nice to walk down by the water with your cone.

I have come here for years for the Orange Chocolate Chip. I've never seen it anywhere else and it's my absolute favorite! If you like Terry's Chocolate Oranges at Christmas time, you'll love this flavor! I strayed once to try the banana pudding and was not disappointed (it was wonderful as well) but I always come back to my favorite flavor. Yes, there are other popular choices right across the street and down the road, but if you haven't tried this place, I highly recommend giving it a shot!

Very friendly staff. We have usually went across the street for ice cream, but they were closed for a private event so we stopped here by happenstance. Were very pleasantly surprised on the quality of the ice cream. Also the staff was great and loved to interact with our little kiddos. Will come back here for the great staff and ice cream next time in this area.

Delicious house made ice cream, right by the waterfront. Orange chocolate chocolate chip is delicious!

Sweet, artificial flavor with no trace of real fruit. Ordered 2 scoops of sorbet: one lemon and one raspberry. They came in stunning yellow and pink colors. Very pretty. Until I tasted it. There was no taste difference between the two. Both scoops where essentially super sweet chemically tasting goo. My friends tried it too and after minimal consultation the entire thing went into the nearest trash can. The sorbet gets 4 stars for color and 0 for taste, averaging at a total of 2 stars. Huge disappointment on a hot summer day.

They change the name of this place to the creamery. When I was here it was called Scoop Grill. They have yogurt custard and homemade ice cream.

Delicious soft serve custard. My only complaint is only some of the staff know how to "pour " a proper cone. So you may get a perfect one or one that looks lopsided and messy.

This place is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G not only is really affordable but the quality of ice cream is REAL. It's disappointing nowadays to find food that is not real but " The Creamery " is the exception. The quality of the employees is excellence to the point that they always ask you if there's something else they can do for you. It was my first time here and I'm planning to comeback since Eddie, a really caring associate let me sample even the quality of the cones. I definitely know where to take my friends this summer ya'll! 😋

So we go here quite a bit and we're locals. Yeah it's not cheap McDonald's cream flavored non dairy ice so it's going to cost a bit more. And you are in the heart of old town. They move ya through pretty fast but it's ice cream, not a mortgage. We like the flavors and the sizes are generous. We like it better than pops across the street. Oh and they don't have real custard, just soft serve so yeah that's going to melt quickly on a hot day. If you want real frozen custard go to dairy good mother in del Ray. It's tasty!

I grew up going here during the summers. The lemon custard (and honestly, pretty much everything about this place) is exactly as I remember it and still my favorite ice cream. Best ice cream in Old Town, no doubt.

I’m a big ice-cream fanatic, and I must say THE CREAMERY IS THE BEST SPOT IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY!!!!!! I first tried Black Raspberry Cheescake and their famous Orange Chocolate Chocolate Chip flavor and was swept away. The staff created a youthful and friendly aura and suggested great places to see around the historic old town of Alexandria. Before heading back to San Diego, I had to come back to try more flavors, and we ended up buying an entire pint! The Creamery is the best place to experience the down to earth soul of Alexandria!

My go-to coffee ice cream place at the water front. However, tonight I was especially impressed because of the courtesy of the great staff. I walked in late after the closing time but didn't have to leave without my ice cream! Thanks guys!

I absolutely loved this place! The flavors that I got were lemon custard and strawberry and they were both so delicious! They also had great customer service which is always a plus. I would recommend this place to any ice cream lover.

The best lemon custard ice cream anywhere!

The ice cream was great and the sizes reasonable but if I was then I would have a kids size at half price. As the pricing is a little much, as well there is no seating, so I would not bring kids here. Mine got the small and we still threw some away.

The Lemon custard transported me to the 80's in North Carolina to the little ice cream shop my mother used to take when I was a little kid.
